It does take more than government funding to produce a godly leader. Therefore at the phase 1 of KHI, we provide food, clothes and help to pay school fees of orphans and underprivileged children in our community. At this phase, we partner with other orphanage homes by helping to sponsor some of the children education, providing clothes, food and any other way we could help.
PHASE 2
DominionCollege is a nursery and primary school with the aims of providing free education, clothing, books and accommodation for orphans and the needy or underprivileged Children.
Method of Operation:
Only the children who are qualified as an orphan/ underprivileged will be sponsored fully.
Other Children will pay school to be a student in the school
Fund from the other children and partners will be used to pay for the orphans and children at Risk.
We at KHI have hope in our heart but we also go with help in our hands
GIVING AND SPONSORSHIPS:
Kids helpers is all about children
We desire to:
Change the future of children at risk
Change the lives of children in our homes
Change the situation of children without help
Change society’s treatment of children at risk
Change the world by shaping today’s orphans into tomorrow's leaders.
Come; let’s together give significance to these children by investing in their lives. It only takes one person full of the love of Jesus to make a difference in the life of someone else!
BACK TO SCHOOL
Many things are responsible for the millions of Africa children, who have not being to school or do not return to school, but here are common ones; School fees, Cost of books, uniforms and transportation are more than what many families provide for. In fact UNICEF statistic says about 10million Nigeria children that are of the school age are out of school. And that 6.2 millions are girls while 3.8 are boys.
Often, in Africa, children must work to help support their families and have no time for education. Hence taking children back to school is only the first step towards ensuring that they receive a quality education.
What is KHI doing to help give children?
Presently
We provide meals and uniform
We provide books and study materials
We help with paying school fees
We provide gender equality
Proposal:
We want to build school and run the school that will help make today's orphans and children at RISK tomorrow's leaders. We affirm that children have right to education
STRATEGY
We at the Kids Helper International believe that the only way to tackle destroying problems facing "Tomorrow's leaders", the children is through coalition and partnerships. Our strategy is to align ourselves with internationals and orphanage homes that are already doing the work and also may be willing to help us at KHI do the work.
FOCUS
Our focus is on children with special emphasis on orphans. It is the desire of KHI to reach out to the growing members of children orphans, underprivileged and generally at risk. We will do our part by the grace of God to ensure the children are made leaders of tomorrow, impacting the nations
